I think this is the key. Make it simple, so simple it is hard not to do it. I now get my morning routine in before even getting out of bed, 300+ sit-ups etc. It is just easier than getting dressed and drving to the gym and spending two hours when I can get my back exercises in before I jump out of bed :)
I'll read. I'm NOT RUNNING ...I'll walk. I'll get my 5 pound dumb bells to work my triceps. No waaaaay am I doing push ups . No waaaaaay. I'm grateful I stepped outside of my 450 sq foot cramp granny flat yesterday.
It’s funny how we think discipline is all about willpower, but this shows it’s really about designing smarter defaults.
